1. Responsible for improving and tracking quality issues related to supplier-provided products during receiving, production processes, and at the customer’s site; also responsible for organizing relevant quality meetings with suppliers.
2. Responsible for annual supplier audits, product audits, D-audits, and preparing audit reports;
3. Responsible for tracking, confirming, and archiving the results of supplier self-assessments;
4. Participate in the review process for onboarding new suppliers;
5. Responsible for signing supplier quality agreements and annual quality targets, as well as conducting and communicating monthly quality performance evaluations.
6. Responsible for incentive assessments related to quality issues arising from products supplied by vendors;
7. Responsible for developing supplier quality improvement plans and overseeing their implementation;
8. Organize quality training for suppliers;
9. Responsible for submitting the annual type-test plans to suppliers, reviewing the annual type-test reports, and tracking the annual test results of supplier-provided components.
10. Participate in the review of supplier change proposals;
11. Responsible for approving PPAP documentation for new and changed parts supplied by vendors;
12. Responsible for establishing and revising appearance inspection standards for purchased components;
Job requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering;
2. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite; skilled in supplier quality management, as well as VDA 6.3/6.5 and 8D methodologies. Also knowledgeable about the IATF 16949 quality system standards and quality tools such as MSA, PPAP, SPC, APQP, and FMEA. Possesses strong written communication and interpersonal skills.
