From January 18 to 21, 2016, the company-level VDA 6.3 [Process Audit] internal training—planned by the System Group of the Quality Management Department and jointly organized with the Integrated Management Office—was held as scheduled in the 5th-floor conference room. Participants included personnel from relevant departments such as the Planning & Logistics Department, the Production Safety Department, and the Quality Management Department. The training covered key topics including:

Introduction to the History of Quality Systems: The Origins of the ISO 9000 Standards, the Structure of ISO 9000, and an Overview of TS16949. The Relationship Between System Audits, Process Audits, and Product Audits. Audit Techniques: Key Scoring Principles and Explanation of Audit Checklists. Principles for Downgrading and Risk-Based Analytical Approaches. Introduction to VDA 6.3 Audit Criteria and Its Special Requirements, Including Changes and Differences Compared to Formel-Q—[Supplier Quality Capability Assessment Guidelines].

The first of the eight management principles of the quality management system emphasizes a customer-centric approach. In today’s fiercely competitive market, organizational success depends entirely on customers. Only by gaining a deeper understanding of customer needs, consistently meeting those expectations, and even striving to exceed them can companies stay at the forefront of industry development. As a supplier to Volkswagen, Jinheng employees deeply recognize that while they’ve already achieved some milestones in securing Shanghai Volkswagen’s Tier 1 supplier certification, these accomplishments represent just a small step on an immense journey. Looking ahead, with key priorities like advancing to Tier A status at FAW-Volkswagen and securing new projects for Volkswagen, Jinheng faces a long and challenging road ahead.

VDA6.3, the sixth volume, part 3 standard for process auditing compiled by the VDA (German Association of the Automotive Industry), applies specifically to German automotive brands such as Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Porsche, and Audi. As a supplier to Volkswagen, we not only have the reason but also the strong necessity to thoroughly understand our customers' requirements—enabling us to meet and even exceed their expectations.

The entire training session was led by the Quality Systems Engineer, seamlessly integrating standards with the company’s actual practices. Participants enjoyed a highly engaging learning environment and gained valuable insights! By conducting this process audit training, not only did attendees deepen their understanding of process management requirements, but it also helped foster a stronger quality awareness across the entire organization.
