Jinheng Company is the largest domestic supplier of自主品牌 airbags and seat belts. In his speech, Zeng Qingdong detailed to the guests the company’s remarkable achievements in recent years in both active and passive automotive safety technologies. Notably, in 2015, Jinheng partnered with the Third Military Medical University of the People's Liberation Army to conduct China’s first full-scale vehicle dynamic crash test using complete human cadavers. This groundbreaking experiment not only holds significant scientific value but also represents a major legal and ethical milestone—truly a landmark collision that has redefined passive safety standards in China’s automotive industry.

At the seminar, nine world-class experts—including Wang Zhengguo, President of the International Society for Traffic Safety Medicine and an Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering; André Schek, former Chairman of the European New Car Assessment Programme (Euro NCAP); and Liu Chongqing, Technical Director of Jinheng Company—delivered keynote speeches on topics such as "Global Road Traffic Safety Trends," "An Overview of Euro NCAP and Its Rating System," and "The Super Slide." Additionally, André Schek provided a detailed explanation of the latest 2020 Euro NCAP requirements under the title "The 2020 Euro NCAP Roadmap," while also highlighting emerging trends in both active and passive automotive safety technologies. The seminar was packed with dynamic moments and a rich academic atmosphere, featuring interactive Q&A sessions after each presentation—leaving attendees enthusiastically remarking that it was an "unprecedentedly rare opportunity."
During the seminar, attendees were also invited to participate in the inauguration ceremony of Jinheng’s state-of-the-art “Super Slide Table” at the company’s simulation test lab. The “Super Slide Table,” developed through a joint effort involving Jinheng’s investment of over 60 million yuan and collaboration with Seattle Safety Technology from the U.S., represents the world’s most advanced slide table currently available. This cutting-edge equipment enables collision simulations—such as pitch, yaw, and side-impact scenarios—that are beyond the capabilities of conventional slide tables. Following the ceremony, Jinheng showcased two groundbreaking experiments to the guests: a "pitch-forward collision simulation demonstration" and a "side-impact collision simulation demonstration." According to documented reports and online search engine findings, these demonstrations marked both the first time such experiments have been conducted domestically—and globally—for the first time ever.
This seminar has created a platform for peers in the automotive industry and traffic safety field to learn from each other, exchange ideas, share best practices, and collectively enhance their expertise, thereby playing a positive and proactive role in advancing passive safety technologies for vehicles.
