On November 3, 2016, Dr. Christian Lohrer, an auditor from Germany’s BAM organization, along with auditor Ms. Andrea Hein and their two-member team, visited Jinzhou Jinheng Automotive Safety Systems Co., Ltd. to conduct an assessment for the company’s quality management system and quality safety system certification.
BAM is a renowned, authoritative certification body recognized by Germany's Volkswagen Group. Established in 1870, it boasts a long-standing history and enjoys an outstanding reputation across Europe and globally. Operating under EU standards, BAM Federal Institute conducts material research, product testing, and quality management system certifications in compliance with international regulations as well as national laws. Its certification scope is meticulously divided into five key areas: civilian explosives, hazardous goods packaging, equipment and protective systems for use in explosive environments, pressure equipment, and general accreditation within Germany’s Testing and Certification System (ZBA, DAP).
Mr. Zhu Naixin, Head of the International Business Department at Jinheng Company, Ms. Zhang Guannan, Quality System Engineer, Mr. Li Chunszi, Product Project Engineer, and other team members attended the audit and provided detailed responses to the auditors’ questions and concerns. After thoroughly reviewing Jinheng’s quality management and product safety-related documentation, the auditors conducted on-site inspections of the company’s various production lines, multiple quality testing laboratories, and the non-conforming products storage area. The BAM certification body auditors expressed strong satisfaction with the audit results, offering valuable recommendations in the process. They subsequently signed the draft certification agreement and agreed to issue the official certification once Jinheng successfully meets all audit requirements within the specified timeframe. This audit not only enhances Jinheng’s credibility and recognition but also paves the way for the company to further expand into the broader European market.
