The Driver Airbag (DAB) is a facial protection device installed in the driver's steering wheel. Specifically, it is a 55-liter facial protection airbag mounted via a snap-in structure inside the steering wheel. When used in conjunction with the vehicle's seat belt, it can reduce the degree of injury to the driver's head and face. Compared with other airbags, it boasts advantages such as lower development costs and shorter development cycles. Additionally, it features a platform-based structure, which can adapt to different vehicle models with only minor modifications.
The Driver AirBag (DAB) cover is made of high-performance thermoplastic elastomer (TPO) through precision injection molding. Co-designed with the vehicle’s interior styling, it features specific pre-formed tear lines to ensure timely and smooth airbag deployment, combining aesthetics and functionality.
The steering wheel of the Chery E01 is wrapped in premium microfiber leather, with the secondary foaming process achieving a two-tone exterior design. It is applicable for the Chery Fengyun A9L model.Equipped with HOD (Hand on Detection) and heating functions, the HOD adopts a three-zone capacitive sensing solution, delivering accurate and sensitive response. The steering wheel frame is made of lightweight die-cast aluminum-magnesium alloy with excellent dynamic performance, combining high strength and lightweight properties.
Automotive side airbags are designed to protect the occupant's torso during a side collision. When side impact sensors detect an impact of sufficient force, the control unit rapidly triggers the gas generator within the airbag module. The solid propellant is ignited, producing a large volume of harmless nitrogen gas that inflates and deploys the airbag in approximately 20 milliseconds. This forms a cushioning barrier between the occupant and the rigid door structure, effectively dispersing and absorbing impact energy to reduce the risk of injuries to the ribs, internal organs, and pelvis.
